Park Glenview Apartments is committed to making both our community and our website accessible to everyone, including older adults and people with disabilities. Accessibility isn't an afterthought for us: it's central to who we serve.
Our Building
Park Glenview is accessible by elevator and wheelchair ramp, so every floor is easy to reach. If you have questions about accessibility features in a specific apartment or common area, our team is happy to walk you through them, in person or over the phone.
Our Website
We've built this website with accessibility in mind, including:
- Text alternatives for images, so screen readers can describe what's shown
- Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements, including the FAQ accordion
- Visible focus states for anyone navigating by keyboard
- Clear heading structure and semantic HTML for easier navigation with assistive technology
- Color and contrast choices intended to be readable, including for low-vision users
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a general standard, though we haven't yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. As we update the website, we'll continue looking for ways to improve it.
